Many years ago Reckon was the Australian distributor for Intuit QuickBooks when software was sold on CD’s in retail boxes at the major electronics stores and retailers.

Today Reckon has its own suite of online accounting software but is most successful with their Accounting Practice Management software – the software that accountants use to sort out your end of year taxes.

Reckon One is their big push into the online accounting software market and because they are relatively small they’re price is low and they’ve picked some good features that are included, particularly in their Single Touch Payroll software.

Reckon is now a publicly listed company that you can buy shares in and they have a development pipeline of new features for their software.
